10.03.53
10.03.53 is an Italian leather goods brand founded by Italian craftsman Luca Colosimo. Having studied the art of leather craft in Milan, the young graduate spent a decade cutting his teeth at none other than Gucci, Paco Rabanne and Isabel Marant before a desire for independence motivated him to launch his own project in 2020. One year after its creation, his brand 10.03.53 was selected to join ‘Les Ateliers de Paris’, a program backed by the City of Paris to support emerging designers. Championing a slow, principled process, the label uses surplus leather from the luxury industry to produce a small series of gender-neutral handbags, made by skilled craftspeople in Tunisia and Italy. With an eclectic array of styles, the label’s collection is as much a reflection of Luca’s mastery of leather as it is his eye for design.
