Isabelle Guédon and Benjamin Caron first met on the banks of Les Sables d’Olonne, a seaside town just south of Nantes. Fast-forward to 2012, the Vendéen misfits, now based in Paris, joined forces to create the brand Adieu. Taking inspiration from French electropop, Mod fashions and teenage nostalgia, the duo dream up unisex shoe collections with a twist. From chunky creepers to waxed leather boots, their designs play with gender, shapes and material to create timeless, low-key footwear. Their lightweight soles, made from micro-cellular foam and designed and manufactured exclusively for Adieu, also set them apart. Discrete, alluring and undeniably cool, whether you’re pounding Parisian pavements, running to work in New York or hitting the dancefloor in Toyko, Adieu’s shoes have got you covered.
