When classic car aficionados Elisha Ruesch and Nguyen Nguyen met back in 2000, their mutual passion for pre-70s era vehicles was not only the makings of a life-long friendship, but also a prosperous business venture. Between their workshop in Vietnam, and showroom in Switzerland, the two brothers-in-law collected, restored, and traded hundreds of vintage cars and motorcycles, gaining a thorough knowledge of their designs and metal work in the process. It was this expertise – combined with their entry into fatherhood – that fueled the idea for Ambosstoys. They launched the brand with the vision of creating premium quality, meaningful and valuable toys for children that employed the same timeless designs and materials used in classic cars. After years of prototyping, the Primo ride-on was launched. Part collector’s item, part toy, this replica of the classic Italian Vespa is guaranteed to win over both young and old!
