Andrée Jardin
A century ago, on the banks of the Erdre river, George-René Julio, the future husband of Andrée Jardin, began his apprenticeship as a brush maker in Nantes. Today, more than one hundred years later, his grandsons, Jean-Baptiste and François-Marie have proudly taken over the family business which was officially founded in 1947. Boasting three generations of brush making expertise, Andrée Jardin creates top-of-the range brushes for everyday use with handles made of beech and heat-treated ash. From brooms to body brushes and pan scrubbers, the brand uses the best quality white silk, horsehair and plant fibres for the bristles and wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. The brand has even been awarded the EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) label for their excellence in the craft. Whether it’s for bathroom, kitchen or body brushes: look no further than Andrée Jardin, now available on Smallable.
