The Autry story starts in Dallas, Texas in 1982, when the footwear brand first made waves across North America with their technically innovative athletic shoes, recognizable for their American flag logo. Despite being voted by Tennis Magazine as the finest shoe on the market in 1985, towards the end of the eighties the brand fell on hard times. Fast-forward to 2019, the brand was relaunched by Alberto Raengo as a quality, heritage footwear brand. For their grand return, they decided to reinvent and reissue their most iconic tennis shoe model, the Autry Medalist. These vintage-inspired low-top sneakers, available in leather and suede, have quickly gained popularity among in-the-know footwear fanatics and sneakerheads across the internet.
