Bala is a Los Angeles based movement company founded in 2018 by husband-and-wife team Natalie Holloway and Maximilian Kislevitz. During a sabbatical in Southeast Asia, Natalie and Max realised that old school wrist and ankle weights were in desperate need of innovation and decided to design a stylish weighted band that amplifies the fitness benefits of just about any routine. The result is the ultra-sleek Bala Bangle: a silicone band available in a myriad of colours and in two different weight options that you can wear on your wrist or ankle. These weighted bands can be used during exercise, yoga or pilates sessions or simply while you go about your daily life to give you a workout even when you’re not. The Bangles are made of recycled stainless steel wrapped in soft silicone with ultra-strong velcro for a custom fit.
