Bamboo Baby was founded in 2020 by Jean Maclachlan. Jean felt compelled to create an organic, slow fashion brand for children following the birth of her son who suffered multiple health issues including eczema. The brand was born from Jean’s search for beautifully-made, neutral organic children’s clothing. Each piece in this deliberately limited collection of kids’ clothing is handcrafted in 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. The collections undergo rigorous testing by Jean’s own children and samples are washed multiple times to make sure they don’t lose their shapes.
