Béton Ciré is a Parisian hat brand founded in 2013 by Amélie Le Roux who was inspired to bring back the traditional Miki docker hats that her grandfather used to wear. This part-cap-part-beanie style – originally made famous by Breton fishermen – has since become the brand’s flagship product and is fast becoming a staple of urban streetwear. The brand’s product line includes other classics such as the French navy beret (whose traditional red pompom has been given a contemporary twist) as well as woollen beanies, bucket hats and sou’wester rain hats.
