BObles

The story of bObles began in 2006, when Bolette Blædel, a trained Danish architect, went on maternity leave with her first-born child. When her search for children’s furniture left her sufficiently uninspired, she approached her sister Louise, a designer by profession. Together, they came up with the idea for bObles, a kids’ furniture line made to indulge young imaginations and to support the development of motor skills, while also enhancing the modern family home in minimalist, Scandinavian style. The brand’s ‘tumbling furniture’ is made of soft EVA foam and is based on simple geometric forms, cut into the shape of animals, giving children complete freedom to use it however they like. From balancing to seesawing, jumping, stacking, or sitting, the tumbling furniture serves to encourage children to play, learn, and develop, all in a natural, décor-friendly colour palette.
