Call It By Your Name is the brainchild of multi-talented Parisian designer Colombe Campana. After training at Studio Berçot fashion school in the French capital and cutting her teeth at Sonia Rykiel, Colombe went on to design for Claudie Pierlot, & Other Stories and more recently Tara Jarmon. Now, the mother-of-three has started her own venture: Call It By Your Name. The brand – which was born during the first lockdown of 2020 – uses recycled bandanas sourced in South Carolina, to create a panoply of colourful accessories from tote bags to pouches, scrunchies, masks, hats and collars as well as one-of-a-kind patchwork jackets. The designer gives the traditional paisley bandana pattern a breath of new life by working with skilled embroiders in Paris who mark each one with bright, bold lettering.
