Consciously Baby

Originally hailing from Colombia, Michelle Misas and Daniel Robles moved to the USA to complete their college education – she in Fashion Merchandising and he in Industrial Engineering. Together, the couple shared a dream of one day running their own business, so after a trip to Southern Asia in 2018 where they discovered a factory specialized in handcrafted leather shoes, the seed for Consciously Baby was planted. Launched the following year, the brand quickly gained popularity for its collections of “modern-boho” footwear for newborns and children up to five years old. The label boasts a wide range of designs in neutral, earthy shades, and most notably, gender-neutral styles that can be shared between siblings and passed down through generations. Each pair is handmade by artisans who are paid a fair wage and who benefit from a safe and positive work environment.
