Driade

Founded in 1968, Driade is a pillar of Italian furniture design. Conceived as an “aesthetic laboratory” by its founders Enrico and Antonia Astori and Adelaide Acerbi, Driade has always been – and continues to be – in search of beauty for living spaces. The brand creates products that are unique, eclectic, eccentric but at the same time elegant, timeless and, above all, joyful. Over the course of its more than fifty-year existence, the company has worked with some of the great masters of Italian design: Nanda Vigo, Enzo Mari, Alessandro Mendini, Achille Castiglioni as well as other illustrious names as Philippe Starck, Ron Arad, Toyo Ito and David Chipperfield. It is this desire to discover new talents with a constant quest for innovation that has fostered a breeding ground for design, and ultimately shaped Driade’s legacy.
