What started as a passion project for founders Alexandrine and Florence is today the well-loved jewellery label Gachon Pothier. The brand – named after the founders’ respective grandfathers – began as a small boutique in Paris’ third arrondissement selling ethnic décor objects and vintage textiles sourced from Iran, Moldova, Turkey, India, Ethiopia and Mexico. Inspired by the bohemian-chic aesthetic, the founders began making their own jewellery and incorporating into the boutique’s offering, and the rest, as they say, is history. Gachon Pothier’s creations are fed by the founders’ emotions, memories, and travels, melding the worlds of yesterday and today. Each piece is made in the brand’s Parisian workshop using a mix of vintage elements, precious stones, shells and pendants.
