In the mid-1980s, three Australian brothers, Stephen, Peter and Matt Hill, created their own sports brand. Initially specialising in shoes for skateboarding and surfing, they then created their own line of skateboards and surfboards inspired by design, cinema, music and street culture. The brand’s skateboarding range includes a number of models from longboards to cruiserboards, complete with irreverent, artistic designs. Committed to the environment, the brand has also established a partnership with the NFF (National Forest Foundation), donating a portion of their profits to replant trees. As a result, in 2019, Globe replanted three times the number of trees used to make their boards.
