Founded in 2016 by Danish textile designer Melis Wilkenschildt, Haps Nordic is a sustainable homewares brand that encourages a zero-waste lifestyle through their range of thoughtful, Scandi-inspired products. While on maternity leave, the young mother was disheartened by the amount of plastic waste created from baby and toddler food, so Melis drew up a prototype for what would become Haps Nordic’s first product – the refillable “smoothie bag”. Since then, the brand has extended their eco-friendly range to include beeswax food wraps, organic cotton shopping bags, reusable stainless-steel straws, GOTS-certified muslin cloths and more.
