Holi & Love

Belgian mother of four, Julie Wouters moved to India with her family in 2017 and quickly fell in love with the country’s traditional block printed fabrics, natural khadi cotton, kantha blankets and hand spun ikat designs. In 2018 she partnered with local craftsmen to launch a small run of bags and accessories and shortly thereafter Holi & Love was born. Named after India’s “Festival of Colours” – Holi – and the founders love of beautiful things, the brand is committed to promoting the rich heritage of Indian craftmanship and works exclusively with Fairtrade registered artisans. All the fabrics used are made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton and are dyed naturally. The result is a beautiful collection of quilted bags, backpacks, and pouches in a palette that reflects India’s colour-rich culture.
