HOMERE

Behind the ceramics brand HOMERE is Anastasia Canellias, a Franco-Greek designer whose roots are spread across France, Greece and Spain. Having grown up between these three countries, her personality has been shaped by culture and curiosity, leading her from archaeology to fashion, theatre and cinema, and now ceramics. From her home in Toulouse, Anastasia creates contemporary tableware and decorative ceramic objects entirely by hand using traditional techniques. Her designs are largely inspired by her childhood memories in Greece – those of big tables under olive trees and her yiayía’s dishes served generously on mismatched plates. Bursting with bold colours and striking graphic motifs, the pieces are designed to be used, shared, loved and most of all: to impart happiness.
