Le Bonnet Amsterdam is an accessory brand founded in 2015 by Matthieu Jansen. After four years working as a model, and many more years searching for the perfect beanie, Matthieu decided it was time for a new challenge, and launched Le Bonnet Amsterdam. Durability and sustainability are the guiding principles of this beanie brand whose products are all 100% biodegradable and made in Scotland. The factory that the brand works with has a 170-year history, making it one of the oldest in the UK. Using traditional knitting machinery and age-old techniques, their beanies – as well as scarves and gloves – are made with a blend of the finest lambswool and Caregora (ethically certified angora), making them especially soft and warm.
