Le Cord

Le Cord is an eco-conscious tech brand that began in 2014 as a special project by brothers Christian and Axel Isberg in their Stockholm-based design and research studio ‘Local Electronics’. Combining their respective experience in advertising and art engineering, the duo produces a variety of premium tech accessories with a focus on sustainable production. Today, the brand is committed to cleaning up our oceans through its innovative – and world first – charging cable, made entirely out of recycled fishnets. These discarded fishnets known as “ghost nets” make up some of the 8 million tonnes of plastic that enter the ocean each year and are particularly destructive to marine habitats and sea life. So far, Le Cord has collected and upcycled 1,405 kilos of this plastic, transforming it into a collection of stylish, ultra-durable charging cables so you can power your device with peace of mind.
