Lefrik

Lefrik is a Madrid-based brand that makes backpacks and travel accessories from recycled plastic bottles. The company was founded in 2012 by Curra Rotondo – a fashion industry native of 14 years – and David Ruiz Andrés, the founder of Grenergy, one of the largest renewable-energy companies in Spain. Lefrik makes fashionable and functional bags for the conscious consumer and modern digital nomad. Each of their bags is PETA-approved vegan and made of 100% recycled polyester fabric from PET bottle waste – whose production process creates 75% less CO2 emissions than virgin polyester and reduces water use by 90%. While quality, traceability and sustainability are at the heart of what they do, Lefrik does not compromise on functionality or style: each bag is ultra-lightweight and resistant, with a simple, clean design that comes available in a variety of sophisticated colours.
