In southern France, on the border of Cantal and Aubrac lies a small hamlet named Lher. It was here that Virginie Rouchon used to spend her summers as a young girl and after which she would eventually name her own accessory label. After 20 years working for some of France’s most well-known fashion houses, the Parisian-born designer decided to launch her own collection of leather goods. Taking inspiration from the unpretentious beauty of Lher’s namesake, Virginie sought to find the perfect balance between city chic and timeless natural materials. The brand’s classic and modern signature is brought to life by skilled craftspeople who employ centuries-old know-how, using predominantly vegetable-tanned leather sourced from French tanneries. The result is a collection of honest handbags with uncompromising quality and a timeless, feminine design.
