In the French countryside not far from Nantes, Lisa lives with her husband and son in an old, renovated farmhouse situated in a tiny hamlet, commonly known as a “lieu-dit”. It’s from here that the French entrepreneur creates her striking punch needle embroidered artworks. Having worked for 20 years (and counting) as a stylist, Lisa has always been creatively minded, however it wasn’t until she discovered punch needle embroidery that she decided to explore her artistic side further. Lisa’s iconic “tribu” artworks are entirely natural and feature a round bamboo frame and natural jute canvas onto which she employs a variety of different embroidery techniques, playing with contrasting textures and colours. Whether displayed as a single statement, or as part of a group – Lieu Dit offers a range of spectacular pieces to complement your interior décor.
