Maison Hotel

Having left their corporate jobs to pursue a love of travelling, friends Amrit and Samuel wound up in a bizarre encounter with a French chef and fashion designer in Jaipur. It was this meeting that sparked the beginning of what would become Maison Hotel: a bohemian fashion brand inspired by India and the Flower Power movement. Without any prior knowledge of the fashion industry the duo embarked on a self-instructed voyage into fashion design, traditional weaving and embroidery techniques with the aim of creating timeless pieces with a vintage spirit. The womenswear brand launched in 2015 and has not strayed from its initial vision. The fabrics are sourced in Rajasthan and the collections are a fusion of authentic tie-dyes, genuine screen prints and delicate embroideries developed by artisans in India. Each slight imperfection is a reminder of the manual nature of the workmanship involved.
