Maison Matine

Maison Matine is a French perfume brand, not like the others. Scent-obsessed colleagues Arthur Ponroy and Marie Kellou left their design agency jobs and launched the label in 2019, intent on creating a line of next-gen fragrances. A contraction of “mutinerie” (mutiny) and “matin” (morning) – the name encapsulates the brand’s ethos of pushing back and being bold every day. Each fragrance is a collaborative effort with a perfume designer and graphic artist, affording the bottles prime real estate on any bathroom shelf. From the sun-drenched ‘Bain de Midi’ with notes of coconut, ylang ylang, gardenia and vanilla; to ‘Warni Warni’, a spicier concoction of cardamom, blossom, cedar and musk; Maison Matine’s fragrances are all unisex and entirely made in France. What’s more, a dollar from every bottle is donated to a charitable cause.
