Mayde

Founded in 2012 by Tim and Sylvia Hill, Mayde is towel brand based out of the Gold Coast, Australia. After the birth of their first child, Tim and Sylvia found that carrying traditional bulky towels down to the beach was no longer practical, so they started looking into Turkish towels. Not only did they find what they were looking for, but also the inspiration for their own brand. All of Mayde’s towels and throws are produced by artisans in the Buldan region of southern Turkey, where the cotton is grown locally and spun using traditional hand-looming techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation. No chemical products are used in the production of the textiles, all of which carry the OEKO-TEX®-certification. Whether for the beach or bathroom, Mayde delivers a luxury experience with its range of lightweight, terry cloth or plush options.
