Growing up in Wisconsin as a first-generation Indian American, Michelle Ranavat felt like she was living two separate lives for most of her youth. It wasn’t until she visited Jaipur in 2010 that she fully embraced her family’s culture and traditions. After experiencing the elevated level of self-care in India and their devotion to wellness rituals, the idea for Ranavat was born: a botanical skincare collection that drives connection. Inspired by the kings and queens of Rajasthan who used ancient elixirs and potions in a bid for eternal life, Ranavat uses these same Ayurvedic practices in its line of premium skin and hair treatments. Each ingredient – think jasmine, sweet almond oil and lotus flower – is methodically extracted, preserved for its healing properties, and secured for your skin’s benefit. What’s more, the range is largely vegan and organic and uses recyclable packaging.
