Sabre

Founded in 1993 by Francis Gelb, Sabre is a Parisian institution in silverware. Having grown up with a goldsmith father, Francis was immersed in the art of table setting from a very young age. Combining meticulous craftmanship with creativity, Sabre prides itself on breaking with tradition, making cutlery that is full of colour and character: the sort that you’d want to put on display rather than hiding in a drawer. From their first gingham print collection, their range has expanded to include 21 different colours and a wide variety of styles from the traditional bistro-inspired sets to more exotic and playful designs. Whichever you choose, they are all designed to be mixed and matched, according to the founder “the best table is the one that reflects who you are, so break with convention and dare to be different”.
