Stella Pardo
Named in honour of her grandmother, Peruvian designer Cinthya Guerrero founded her knitwear label Stella Pardo in 2009. Emboldened by the strength of the single mothers in her family, the young entrepreneur decided to place female empowerment at the centre of her brand. For over thirteen years, Cinthya has employed knitters in the slums of Peru, helping them to earn a living while they look after their children. Each garment is made with ethically and sustainably sourced Peruvian pima cotton and alpaca wool and is hand knitted, crocheted or woven using time-honoured techniques. Having moved to France at the age of ten, Cinthya’s designs are unequivocally Parisian, featuring the sophisticated cuts, flawless quality, and finishing touches synonymous with French luxury. A unique Franco-Peruvian identity, an unwavering commitment to sustainability and fair trade, and a deep respect for tradition: this is Stella Pardo.
