For over 50 years, Finnish toy company Tactic has been creating innovative, exciting and high-quality games from their headquarters in the small city of Pori. It all began in 1967, when a relative from America brought the board game ‘Trouble’ over to Finland during a visit: Markku Heljakka and his father were so excited by it that they began producing a Finnish version that they called ‘Kimble’. What started out as a family operation in their garage soon developed into the Tactic factory that today produces 2.5 million games a year. According to Markku, a good game has the right balance between luck, tactics, knowledge and skill and this approach has awarded the company endless success with their ever-developing portfolio of games.
