To support breastfeeding women, French entrepreneur Alison Cavaille founded Tajinebanane in 2018, a clothing brand that offers women the ability to nurse their babies in complete freedom and comfort, wherever they may be. The former nursing assistant gave up everything to start her project after the birth of her third child, when she lamented not being able to find any suitable clothes to breastfeed in without needing to get undressed. The designer now works with an eco-responsible and family-run workshop in Portugal and only uses Oeko-Tex® certified organic cotton. From sweatshirts to jumpers, dresses, t-shirts and even swimsuits, each of Tajinebanane’s garments have either a zip or press stud opening on the side to allow you to breastfeed discretely, comfortably, and in style.
