Among the giants of Danish design, Verner Panton (1926-1998) established a unique reputation for his exuberant originality and tireless experimentation. His oeuvre – which included lamps, furniture, and textiles – became known for its bold colour palette, graphic expression and use of innovative materials, which never compromised on quality or workmanship. So, to celebrate and continue his legacy, Verpan was founded in 2003, bringing with it a selection of Panton’s iconic lighting models back into production. Since then, a furniture range has been added, and today, Verpan boasts a carefully curated selection of the designer’s most iconic pieces. Each one is as strikingly inventive now as it was 50 years ago, offering extraordinary user experiences and facilitating new ways of living, working, and interacting.
