The Dé collection was born of a play of chiaroscuro, characteristic of Ann Demeulemeester's style. The result is a series of hand-painted shaded motifs, creating a meticulous interplay of lines. The handwork makes each cup unique, while allowing for numerous combinations. The collection features six different variations of black, ranging from very fine to very dense lines, almost completely covering the surface, giving light effects and a unique layering of gradations. The bowl-shaped cups feature a horizontal handle.
