Verner Panton

Danish architect and designer Verner Panton was a force to reckon with in the world of design during the second half of the 20th century. His diverse collections showcased his affinity for vibrancy and skillful manipulation of basic geometric shapes. It is in furniture design, however, that he garnered lasting fame, exemplified by such iconic creations as the Panton Chair that he developed in collaboration with Vitra. But the designer’s artistic exploration knew no bounds, spanning furniture, textiles, lighting fixtures among others, and some of his most famous designs have remained in popular production for decades, proving that good taste truly is timeless. Verner Panton's innovative spirit continues to inspire and captivate, thanks to his unique vision and absolute mastery of form, colour, and space.
